At Sunshine Day Nursery we pride ourselves on our ability to deliver a high level of early year’s childcare and education to all our children. Our nursery environment will focus on encouraging children’s independence and choice, to support their learning. We encourage exploration, investigation and enjoyment through freedom of choice, child centred activities and adult support and interaction.

At the Sunshine Day Nursery we understand that choosing the right nursery for your child is probably one of the most important decisions you will ever make.
As you may be aware Early Years of a child’s life are paramount. It is at this time the foundations of personal, social and learning behaviour are laid.
At Sunshine Day Nursery we pride ourselves in offering loving care and education in a homely, safe and stimulating environment.
Our approach is based on the principle that children learn best through planned and purposeful play and that learning should be fund for children. We want all children to develop to their fullest potential and instil within them a joy for life-long learning.
Sunshine Day Nursery is an OFSTED registered provider of care and education for 26 children between 1 and 5 years. We are members of the Pre-School Learning Alliance and Early Education. We also work in close partnership with Camden early Years and Community Services.
Here at the Sunshine Day Nursery we proudly follow the statutory Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. The EYFS is a play based framework which has been developed with parents, carers, early years practitioners and academics. This tried and tested method encompasses the very best of various learning approaches such as Montessori, Reggio Emilia, High Scope and others.
At Sunshine Day Nursery we recognise that parents are children’s primary educators and we endeavour to work in partnership with parents in all circumstances.
We operate within a framework that provides equality of opportunity to all children and families.
The Nursery has detailed policies on its working practices including, special educational needs, health and hygiene, safety, child protection and others. We will be happy to share these with you upon request.
